READ THIS ENTIRE AGREEMENT BEFORE CLICKING AGREE OR SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT

This agreement is between Minnesota Lake Life Rentals, LLC (Lessor) and the Lessee/Renter. By clicking

agree, signing, or reserving the watercraft, you agree to the general site Terms as well as these additional

policies during any rental period.

GENERAL RULES

 Only the authorized renter will be allowed to operate the boat.

 Only the authorized Renter aged 21 or over may operate the watercraft. Allowing an unauthorized

person to operate the watercraft may void all insurance coverage.

 The authorized renter must have a current and valid driver’s license.

 Renters must abide by all state and federal laws. Renters must also follow all laws with regards to

rules of the water and personal floatation devices. Minnesota Lake Life Rentals recommends all

persons on watercraft or docks wear personal flotation devices (PFDs) at all times.

 Renters agree not to operate the craft or equipment while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

 Renter will not engage in any illegal or dangerous activity while operating a watercraft. The Renter is

also prohibited from using the watercraft for any negligent use where the intent is abusive or

abnormal for its operation.

 Watercraft Violations and Tickets are the responsibility of Renter and must be paid in a timely

manner, including any costs incurred by Lessor.

 No smoking or pets are allowed.

 Watercraft may only be rented for personal use and may not be used "for hire." Watercraft must

never exceed capacity rating during rental use.

 All passengers must be in acceptable seating positions when underway, not outside of railing or on

the sundecks.

 Renter agrees not to use watercraft to tow another boat, watercraft, or vessel.

 Renter will drive and dock the watercraft with reasonable care and keep the watercraft clean. We

reserve the right to charge an appropriate cleaning fee for an excessively dirty watercraft.
 Renter agrees to attend the required operations training provided by MN Lake Life Rentals.

 Renter agrees to return the watercraft on time. There is a 15-minute grace period for all rental

returns. If a watercraft is returned late the Renter agrees to pay for any time overages at the rate of

$100/hour and to have such charges immediately deducted from their account or credit card on file.

 Fuel Charge

o Watercraft rental with Minnesota Lake Life cabin reservation

 Boat must be refueled with 91 octane from BP in Maple Lake. Watercraft checked in

after rental with less than full tank will surcharge of $50 plus the cost of fuel will be

immediately deducted from their account or credit card on file.

o Watercraft rental only

 Will be calculated by 7.5 gallons per ¼ of tank * fuel price of 91 octane (based on days

rate in the area). This surcharge will be immediately deducted from their account or

credit card on file.

DAMAGE POLICY

 The Renter agrees that they will report any accident, malfunction, breakdown, damage incident or

lost equipment to Lessor immediately.

 The Renter agrees that they have or will examine the watercraft ,all equipment, and accessories

before using and find it acceptable and suitable for the purpose for which it was rented.

 The Renter agrees to pay for any damage, lost equipment or time overages immediately upon

returning the watercraft and authorizes the Lessor to process such charges automatically to the

account or credit card on file.

Cancellation Policy

 You may cancel your reservation at any time, but the following conditions will apply.

o If you cancel your reservation with 14 or more days advance notice, you will

receive 100% of the rental fee as an account credit to be used towards future

use(s). If are unable to book a different date, you can request a refund by

emailing [email protected] or calling/texting 612-508-6536.

o Any cancellation with less than 14 days notice, for any reason, will result in a

10% rescheduling fee. 90% of the rental fee is then applied as an account credit.

We do not offer refunds for cancellations with less than 14 days notice.

 We do not allow cancellations for less than ideal weather. If the weather is bad due to

high winds, lightning or very heavy rain we will call you to cancel and you will NOT be

charged the rescheduling fee and 100% of the rental fee will be applied as an account

credit.

 We reserve the right to cancel any rental at any time due to extreme conditions deemed

unsafe.

 Account credits DO NOT EXPIRE.

 There will be no refunds or credits issued for No Shows.

MN Lake Life Rentals: Pontoon and Jet Ski Rental Policy

Welcome to MN Lake Life Rentals! To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and smooth experience for all our guests, please review and adhere to the following rental policies for our pontoon and jet skis.

Rental Requirements:

Age Requirement: Renters must be at least 21 years old to rent and operate the pontoon and jet skis.
Valid Identification: A valid driver's license or government-issued ID must be presented at the time of rental.
Boater Safety Course: It is recommended that all operators have completed a state-approved boater safety course. Proof of completion is required at the time of rental.

Reservation and Payment:

Reservation Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is required to secure your reservation.
Full Payment: The remaining balance is due upon arrival and before the rental period begins.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals:

Pontoon: $500
Jet Ski: $300
The security deposit will be refunded upon the return of the undamaged equipment.

Delivery: Any delivery must be provided by MN Lake Life Rentals. Renters are not allowed to transport, load, or unload any of the watercrafts. There is a $2/mile charge for delivery. Delivery charge is for milage from 4172 Fillmore Ave. NW Maple Lake, MN 55358 to the boat launch and from the boat launch back to 4172 Fillmore address.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 5 days before the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund, minus the reservation deposit. Cancellations made less than 5 days before the scheduled rental time will forfeit the reservation deposit.
Weather Policy: If MN Lake Life Rentals deems the weather unsafe for boating, a full refund or rescheduling option will be provided.

Rental Period:

Rental Duration:

Rental with Cabin: Rentals are available for full-day, multi-day, and weekly periods.
Rental for Delivery: Rentals are available for morning, afternoon, full-day, and mulit-day.

Late Returns: A late return fee of $50 per hour will be charged for equipment returned after the agreed-upon time.

Equipment Usage and Safety:

Life Jackets: Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times by all occupants while the pontoon or jet skis are in operation. It is up to the renter to verify and ensure proper fit of the life jacket. Renters must provide life jacket for any children under the age of 18 years of age.
Maximum Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum capacity of the equipment:

Pontoon: 15 people or 2180 lbs.
Jet Ski: 3 people

Alcohol and Drug Use: Operating the pontoon or jet skis under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund.
Area of Use: The pontoon and jet skis must remain within the designated area of Ramsey Lake. Maps and boundaries will be provided at the time of rental.
Safety and Operation Briefing: A mandatory safety and operation briefing and equipment orientation will be provided before the rental period begins.

Damages and Liability:

Inspection: The equipment will be inspected before and after the rental period. Renters are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Liability: Renters are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by improper use of the equipment. MN Lake Life Rentals is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages incurred during the rental period.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Cleanliness: Please return the equipment in clean condition. A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged for equipment returned excessively dirty.
Fuel Policy: The pontoon and jet skis are provided with a full tank of fuel. Tanks must be refilled with 91 Octane fuel.

Cabin Renters: Renters are responsible for refueling the equipment before returning it. A refueling fee of $50 plus the cost of fuel will be charged for equipment returned without a full tank.
Delivery: MN lake Life Rentals will calculate with the following: Fuel Usage x 91 Octane Fuel rate at the nearest gas station that day.
